How does Music Bingo work?
Listen to the songs DJ Betty plays and mark the matching titles on your card. In each game, the first player to complete a straight-line bingo—five squares in a row across, down, or diagonally—wins a prize. During the final game, we also play for a cover-all prize.
Do I need to be a music expert?
No. Music Bingo is designed to be social and approachable. DJ Betty plays about 30–40 seconds of each song and announces the title afterward. If you do not recognize a song, you can ask someone at your table or another guest, or use a music-recognition app such as Shazam.
What happens in the event of a tie?
If two or more players call “Bingo!” at the same time, DJ Betty verifies each card and then uses a simple tiebreaker—such as a coin toss or a trivia question—to award the prize. Each winning category has one prize.
How many games do you play each night?
We play three games each night. Each game has a prize for the first straight-line bingo—five squares in a row across, down, or diagonally. In the third game, we also play for a cover-all prize, awarded when every space on the card is covered.
How long does Music Bingo last?
Monday Music Bingo at Brown Flannel Tavern runs from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
Can I play more than one card?
Yes! DJ Betty’s Music Bingo cards are printed two to a page, so you may play both cards for two chances to win—and twice the fun.
